NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

ON ANNEXATION

 Notice is hereby given that public hearings will be held by the Governing Body of the City of Pittsburg, Texas in the City Hall at , on October 8th, 2007 and October 15th, 2007 for the purpose of considering annexation into the city limits of the following described property:

 Being: a lot, tract, or parcel of land situated in the Samuel Wyatt Survey, Abstract No. 126, Camp County, Texas, and being part of certain tract 14.052 acre tract of land conveyed from Ruth McMillan, Trustee to Green Burgdorf Company by Warranty Deed, as recorded in Volume 217, Page 236, Official Public Records, Camp County, Texas and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows;

 Beginning: at a ˝ inch iron rod found with a yellow plastic cap marked (Hampton 3889) at a Northeast corner of said 14.052 acre tract, said point lying in the West line of U.S. Highway No. 271, (Variable Width R.O.W.);

 Thence: South 06 Degrees 23 Minutes 00 Seconds East, along an East line of said 14.052 acre tract, and the West line of said U.S. Highway No. 271, a distance of 130.58 feet to a ˝ inch iron rod set with a yellow cap marked (D C & A Inc.) for corner in an East line of said 14.052 acre tract, and in a West line of said U.S. Highway No. 271, from said point for corner at a Southeast corner of said 14.052 acre tract, and the Northeast corner of a 0.987 acre tract of land conveyed to AABC Corporation, by deed recorded in Volume 136, Page 435, Official Public records, Camp County, Texas, bears South 06 Degrees 23 Minutes 00 Seconds East, a distance of 41.33 feet;

 Thence: South 83 Degrees 37 Minutes 00 Seconds West, a distance of 223.13 feet to a ˝ inch iron rod set with a yellow cap marked (D C & A Inc.) for corner;

 Thence: North 06 Degrees 23 Minutes 00 Seconds West, a distance of 92.74 feet to a ˝ inch iron rod set with a yellow plastic cap marked (D C & A Inc.) for angle point, from said point, a ˝ inch iron rod found with a yellow plastic cap marked (D C & A Inc.) at a Southeast corner of a 2.62 acre Easement tract conveyed to The Pittsburg Rodeo Association, by deed records in Volume 217, Page 236, Official Public records, Camp County, Texas, Bears North 18 Degrees 07 Minutes 59 Seconds East, a distance of 1.52 feet;

 Thence: North 18 Degrees 07 Minutes 59 Seconds East, a distance of 71.41 feet to a ˝ inch iron rod found with a yellow plastic cap marked (D C & A Inc. ) in a North line of said 14.052 acre tract, and the Northeast corner of said 2.62 acre tract, from said point, a 3/8 inch iron pipe found at the Northwest corner of said 14.052 acre tract, and the Northwest corner of said 2.62 acre tract, bears North 88 Degrees 24 Minutes 10 Seconds West, a distance of 632.28 feet;

 Thence: South 88 Degrees 24 Minutes 10 Seconds East, (Reference Bearing), along the North line of said 14.052 acre tract, a distance of 195.39 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and CONTAINING 31.602 square feet or 0.73 acre of land.
