After all, this is Texas! And if you need to buy some sporting goods to enjoy our abundant outdoors, Pittsburg offers everything from fishhooks to beautiful bass boats and jet skis.
Be sure to stop for a rest by the fountain at beautiful Witness Park downtown. This unique park includes a chapel with stained glass windows depicting the life of Jesus. The chapel is always open, and the 75-foot tower with French Paccard bells chime on the hour. On the grounds there is a life-sized bronze sculpture of Jesus washing the disciple Peter's feet.
